When beautiful maiden Melibea does not return the love of young knight Calisto, he turns to the sorceress Celestina for help. The maiden and knight are joined, but Calisto's servants begin to feel jealous when he rewards Celestina for her help. Feeling that they also played a part in his winning over Melibea, the servants begin to plot revenge.
